This timely, international journal is intended to provide a forum for presentation of research relevant to all aspects of the chemical basis of toxicological responses. It publishes papers devoted to identification of novel toxic agents and reactive intermediates, development of specific and sensitive new methods for detection of modification of biological macromolecules by toxic agents, characterization of the alteration of macromolecular structure and function by interaction with chemical agents, experimental and theoretical studies of chemical factors that control reactivity with specific macromolecules, and metabolism of toxic agents as it contributes to their biological effects. Chemical Research in Toxicology publishes Articles, Communications, Invited Reviews, and Perspectives on structural, mechanistic, and technological advances in research related to the toxicological effects of chemical agents.
