Journal of Cell Science (JCS) is an international peer-reviewed journal in the field of cell biology that is published byThe Company of Biologists, a not-for-profit charitable organization run by biologists for the benefit of the biological community.

JCS is a community journal that strives to support the cell biology community. The JCS website provides useful information, for example through our Meetings page, and we participate in the LOCKSS project, an international initiative through which libraries and publishers work together to preserve their digital content for the long term. JCS supports junior researchers through our Travelling Fellowship program for scientists who wish to make collaborative visits to other laboratories. Profits from JCS support the British Society of Cell Biology and numerous meetings and workshops, including Keystone Symposia, Gordon Conferences and EMBO workshops.
