Perspectives in Plant Ecology, Evolution and Systematics is a young international journal which provides a platform for reviews and longer research articles in the fields of ecology, evolution and systematics of plants. The journal has been launched by the Rübel Foundation, a private trust associated with the Geobotanical Institute of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. The foundation looks back on a continued tradition of publishing for more than 70 years and is widely known and respected for a number of classic publications in European plant ecology and systematics. The scope of Perspectives: focus on the ecology, evolution and systematics of plants, informed perspective on themes of current interest and debate, Full length reviews, Essay reviews, Longer research articles, applied as well as pure science, both specialized and interdisciplinary themes.
