The European Journal of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of communications on infectious diseases of bacterial viral fungal or parasitic origin. The scope of the journal covers the pathogenesis diagnosis epidemiology therapy and prevention of infectious diseases. The journal publishes communications in the form of articles notes editorials reviews or letters. All categories of communications can be submitted to the journal for consideration. Articles serve to present results or original research in the form of a full-length study whereas notes serve to present such results in condensed form or to present preliminary findings or case reports of truly exceptional interest. Letters comment briefly on findings of interest or on publications in the journal.
