Published for the International Society for Animal Genetics. Animal Genetics reports frontline reseach on the immunogenetics, biochemical genetics and molecular genetics of economically important and domestic animals. It reports current research on genetic variation at the level of single genes, their products and functions in economically important and domestic species of animals. In addition to the conventional areas of blood groups, protein polymorphism and gene mapping, the Journal encompasses advances in rapidly developing areas such as DNA polymorphism.
