Brain Research Reviews is a special section of Brain Research which provides a medium for prompt publication of review articles and, occasionally, long research papers with extensive review components, which give analytical surveys that define heuristic hypotheses and provide new insights into brain mechanisms.TYPES OF PAPERS 1. Reviews. In principle, there is no limit to the length of reviews published in the journal. 2. Interactive Reviews are reviews that are considered worthy of priority publication. These will appear in electronic form on the Brain Research Interactive website (http://www.bres-interactive.com) before being published in the print journal. The on-line version may include additional data sets, 3-D/confocal images, animations, etc., and be linked to relevant on-line databases.
