Founded in 1988 Acta Paulista de Enfermagem is the technical-scientific electronic publication of the Escola Paulista de Enfermagem (Paulista School of Nursing - EPE) of the Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo (Federal University of Sao Paulo - UNIFESP). Its mission is to promote scientific knowledge generated in the rigor of the research methodology and ethics. The purpose of Acta is to publish original research results for the advancement the practice of clinical, surgical, administration, teaching, and research in nursing, and health informatics.
